Good energy and a great smile from someone who knows they're livin a pretty good life playing and working along Kuta Beach in Bali.

An entire team of smiling faces waving madly at you when the sun is still rising in Bali's coastal countryside will certainly bring a brighter day. I was particularly struck by the girl below who embodies a classic Balinese movie-star look even in her phys-ed uniform. The boy has a pretty great casual groove happening.

From the capital of Malaysia, meet one of the guys who can cook you up a plate of delicious fried rice and veggies. Enda--- completely charming. 

15 years ago Zu (middle) left Burma with her mother and came to Malaysia to live a better life beyond the grips of a government run by force. Today she runs a restaurant called April's Cafe and has two beautiful children, and is perhaps the most welcoming person one may ever meet. Guess how old the grandmother is? Answer: 67! The secret? The Burmese apply a special tree bark paste onto their skin that keeps it 'close to nature'.

Paul has one of those wonderful winning laughing smiles I love. He's also very good at riding motorcycles...as is the rest of the world beyond the USA. I thought he was a total Cambodian BABE! 

As a baby he was found abandoned crying and sunburned in a crematorium in the middle of nowhere. No one in the closest town would claim him and so Mr. Ross brought him to his Orphanage and English School for poor Cambodian children. Today he's 10! Healthy and beautiful.
